xp-AntiSpy is a useful and small addon utility for Windows which focuses on disabling various parts of the operating system which supposedly 'spy' on the user. It has thus far only been tested on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. Despite the name, xp-AntiSpy works on all of the above operating systems.
From within the main interface of the application, uses may enable or disable 28 different options which are neatly organized into a list anybody could understand. The various functions which users may disable with this helpful little application range from Windows Media Player, automatic submission of program crash and bug reports and various configuration options having to do with Internet Explorer and Outlook/Windows Mail.
Certain DLL libraries may also be disabled.

xp-AntiSpy is provided under a freeware license on Windows from Windows tweaking software with no restrictions on usage. Download and installation of this PC software is free and 3.98-2 is the latest version last time we checked.
